Your photos. Your choice.

Privacy,
in plain language.

Outfit Maker is a product of Reklit B.V.. This page explains how the website and app handle information, and the choices available to you.

Who is responsible?

Reklit B.V. is responsible for the information it processes to provide Outfit Maker. For privacy questions or requests, contact support@outfitmaker.app.

Your photos and wardrobe.

Your original photos stay on your iPhone. Garment detection and the preparation of a face-trimmed cut-out begin on the device. You review the pieces found and confirm ownership. Wardrobe information, saved looks, plans and wear records are held locally in the app, with a copy in your own iCloud unless you turn it off (see below).

When you allow AI product photos or garment details, approved garment cut-outs and the information needed for that task are sent through our server to AI service providers. These providers help describe clothes and prepare product images. Your original full photo and face templates are not uploaded for this work.

When you use personal AI styling, the request can include garment information, selected occasions, style preferences and goals, and the request text you choose to submit. Weather information used in a styling request describes conditions rather than sending your location to the stylist. Your profile name is not included as a profile field. Anything you type into a request is part of the submitted text, so avoid personal details you do not want to share.

AI processing requires your permission. You can change the available processing choices in the app. Turning off a choice prevents new work under that choice; it cannot undo a request that has already been sent.

Your wardrobe in iCloud.

When you are signed in to iCloud, Outfit Maker keeps a copy of your wardrobe in your own iCloud account, unless you turn it off, so a new iPhone or a reinstall can bring it back. The copy holds your pieces’ photos (the cut-outs, the crops of your own photos they were cut from, and the product photos), their names, colours and descriptions, the dates of the photos they came from, your looks with the words you asked the stylist for, your plans, days worn and trips, and your card: your first name and your answers. It never holds your photos in Apple Photos, the face information Outfit Maker uses to find you in photos, the photos you choose for a scan, your consents or your analytics identity.

The copy is stored in your private iCloud, under your Apple Account, and no one at Outfit Maker can see it. Everything in it except the photos is end-to-end encrypted; the photos are encrypted by iCloud like the rest of your iCloud data, and end-to-end too if you turn on Advanced Data Protection. Nothing of it reaches our servers.

In Settings › Your data you can switch off Keep my wardrobe in iCloud and choose to keep or remove the copy, and Delete all my data deletes it too (the next time your iPhone is online, if it isn’t now). It counts against your iCloud storage.

Optional face matching.

Face matching is optional and available only to adults aged 18 or over who give the separate consent. It helps the app find the wearer you selected in photos and runs on your iPhone. The reference information used for matching is kept on the device and is not sent to our servers or AI providers.

You can withdraw that choice and use the app’s “Forget my face” control to remove the saved reference information. Saved face references also expire after 12 months without a fitting; removal is enforced when the app next checks the information locally. Confirming which garments you own remains your decision. Face matching is not used to identify people for advertising.

Purchases, operation and analytics.

Apple handles subscription payments. A subscription-management service helps the app verify access, restore purchases and understand subscription status. This processing includes purchase and entitlement information, a random app-install identifier, the device’s vendor identifier, storefront, app and operating-system information, and network information such as an IP address. We do not receive your full payment-card details.

App analytics records product interactions and technical information to help us understand where the app works and where it needs attention. It does not include original photos, face templates or the text of your styling requests. The app asks for analytics consent in the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland, and offers an opt-out in other supported regions. You can change your analytics choice in Settings.

Infrastructure and security services process the information needed to deliver requests, enforce allowances, prevent misuse and resolve errors. A network request may reveal an IP address even when the request does not contain a name.

Storage and deletion.

On our preparation server, uploads awaiting preparation are kept for up to 24 hours. Accepted garment cut-outs are kept for up to 24 hours after acceptance. Results are available for seven days and removed within 24 hours after your iPhone confirms saving them. Usage records without photos or descriptions may remain for up to 365 days.

Those periods describe our preparation system. They are not a promise that every external provider retains data for the same period. Providers may process and retain information under their service, security and legal requirements. Contact us if you need more information about the providers relevant to your request.

The app’s export control creates a local archive of your wardrobe information and garment images. You decide where to save or send it. The app’s deletion controls remove local data and request deletion of the prepared data held for you on our server and your analytics identity. An offline server-deletion request waits for a connection.

Deleting app data does not delete the original photos in Apple Photos, cancel a subscription, remove a file you exported elsewhere or erase purchase records that must be retained for legal obligations. Support correspondence is kept for as long as needed to handle the request and associated legal obligations.

When you visit this website.

The website loads its fonts, images and scripts from this site. It does not embed advertising pixels, third-party social feeds or a cross-site marketing tracker. The outfit examples run in your browser; they do not upload a wardrobe or call an AI service. If you dismiss our download banner, a browser session preference remembers that choice for the tab. It is not sent to us or used for advertising.

To learn which pages and guides are useful, the website counts page views, how far a guide is read and a few clicks, such as the App Store button, a question opened or a guide searched, with an analytics service hosted in the EU. It sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. A visit is recognised only for the day, by a hash the analytics service computes on its servers without keeping your IP address, and no profile of you is built. Browsers that send Do Not Track are not counted. Words typed into the guide search are counted to improve the guides, so please leave personal details out of it.

Our hosting and security provider receives ordinary connection information, including IP addresses, requested URLs and browser information, to deliver and protect the website. Security services may use essential cookies where needed. If you email us, we receive your address and the contents of your message.

Why information is processed.

We process information to provide requested app features and membership access, answer support requests, maintain security and comply with legal obligations. Where consent is required, we ask for it. Necessary service processing supports our agreement with you; security and service maintenance may rely on legitimate interests where permitted. You can withdraw consent without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

Service providers may process data outside your country, including outside the European Economic Area. Applicable safeguards and provider arrangements depend on the service involved. You can ask us for information about the arrangements relevant to your data.

Younger users.

Outfit Maker is intended for people aged 13 and over. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to the terms. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information through our services, contact us so we can investigate and respond.

Your choices and rights.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to processing of personal information, and to receive a portable copy. You may withdraw consent and complain to the relevant data-protection authority, including the Dutch Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens. Some rights depend on the processing and may have legal exceptions.

Use the app’s controls where available, or email support@outfitmaker.app. We may need proportionate information to verify a request. Please do not send passwords, payment-card information or unnecessary personal photos.

For an overview of European rights, see the European Commission’s data-protection guidance.
